Through August 31, Detective Pikachu will make guest appearances aboard the three cruise ships of the Dream fleet, including the Genting Dream, World Dream and Explorer Dream. The cruises will give Pokémon fanatics an immersive and thematic vacation at sea. Trainers can also be encountered and battled on the ship each voyage. However, in the Generation IV remakes, once an individual Trainer is defeated, that Trainer can never be battled again, regardless of when or how often the player re-boards the S.S. The trader won't deal with Yellow players, but they can talk to the policewoman just outside for a free Squirtle once they've won the Thunder Badge.

The map erroneously displays New Bark Town by default as the player's current place when in fact they are aboard the S.S. While all the Trainers are gathered in a room, the ship's employees reveal themselves to be members of Team Rocket! As they suck up Poké Balls with vacuum-like devices, the Trainers fight back; their Pokémon team up to multiply their attacks and drive back the bad guys. Your prizes include the Thunder Badge and TM24, which can teach the powerful Electric-type attack Thunderbolt to a variety of Pokémon. This includes Pikachu, although in the Yellow version it'll learn it by itself at level 26, so you may want to use it on something else, or save it for another Electric Pokémon. Additionally, the Thunder Badge increases your Pokémon's speed stat by 12.5% for in-game battles only.
Pokémon Trading Card Game + Pokémon Stadium 2 NSO
The first room you’ll find downstairs has a Machoke and a Sailor in it, but no fight, so moving along, in the second room you’ll find a Sailor willing to battle with you. As you’re speaking, Blue will come up behind the two of you. He got invited to an exclusive party for Trainers, but as he’s making his way out, he offers you a party favor he got, a Shalour Sable.
Pokémon found
In Generations III and VII, in one room on the first floor, a lady will restore a Trainer's party on hand to full health. Before reaching the captain's cabin, the player will encounter their rival and battle him. In Pokémon X and Y, Rhyhorn racing was introduced as a mode of transportation adopted by competing Rhyhorn racers. Though the player cannot participate in an actual Rhyhorn race, the player's mother, Grace, is a retired Rhyhorn racer, and her Rhyhorn partner lounges outside her house. The player can ride this Rhyhorn, but cannot take it outside the small front lawn.
Internet Access at Sea
Once you've defeated your rival, you're free to visit the seasick Captain and exchange a back rub for HM01, which teaches Cut to Pokémon that can learn it. As an attack it's worthless because of its low power, but when used outside of battle it lets you cut down those trees that are always blocking your way. This includes the tree that was blocking the Vermilion City Gym. When you talk to the guard near the Vermilion City harbor, flash your S.S. Ticket to him stationed at the docks, and you'll be allowed onto the massive cruise liner. Instead, you’ll have to connect to the ship’s Wi-Fi to play.
Shoutout to anyone who’s able to make it out there, because I get FOMO every year watching it from afar. The company will also be hosting the Pokémon Trainer Cruise, an event on a cruise ship where people attending Worlds can gather on the vessel to play, trade, and vibe. S. Anne episode of the anime, in which a ship of Pokémon trainers sank down to the sea. Bringing together fans from all over the world, the Pokémon cruise takes place from August 11-13, with three days of battling to keep trainers occupied. There’s both a videogame arena, for Scarlet and Violet battles, and a TCG arena for card games galore, so you can play whichever format you prefer.
Series
The player takes her back to her grandfather, at which point the S.S. Aqua will arrive in Vermilion City and the player can disembark. Red and Blue players can trade a Spearow for a one-of-a-kind Farfetch'd in the building above and to the right of the Gym. Don't hesitate to make this trade if you have an extra Spearow! If you don't have a Spearow to spare, you'll get a chance to grab one in the upcoming Route 11. Farfetch'd isn't really a good in-game Pokémon to be honest but it can be useful as a HM slave and can learn the Cut, an HM move which will be needed after the S.S Anne.
Let's Celebrate! The Pokémon Parade!!
I enjoyed scarlet and violet, it's flawed yes but it was just pure fun to play, the stories and character design were fantastic but nothing shown in the presentation got me excited for the DLC whatsoever. Im well aware that TPC as a whole are more to blame for the series' shortcomings than the Devs themselves, they are the ones pushing the mobile apps and applying constant crunch, not GF. Please read my comment correctly before you start making assumptions and implying I am a fool. Normally these things cover what is already known with maybe a curveball or two. The first part of the upcoming Pokémon Scarlet and Violet DLC, 'The Teal Mask', will be coming our way on 13th September with the second part still planned for 'Winter 2023'. A special seven-star Tera Raid Battle event is coming to Pokémon Scarlet and Violet from 1st - 17th September starring Mewtwo.
"Battle Aboard the St. Anne"

To reserve tickets and find out more information, check out this website. You will be notified which event tickets you won on July 13th. The events will take place from August 8th through August 14th. I feel like I had actually forgotten a lot of those spin off games like Masters, Unite, and Cafe even existed... Also I highly doubt like 99.9% of the fanbase remotely cares about the World Championships so opening with going on and on and on and on and on about it is just a pointless waste of time. Even though no new game has been announced, I personally am relieved that there is no pressure anymore that a new game is on the way and it supports the next game to have more development time as it should.
The S.S. Anne reappeared in The Primeape Directive, where Yellow boarded it as it was passing by Route 9. Although Yellow was able to defeat the trio and save all of the passengers, the ship still sunk at the Vermilion Harbor. In The Search for the Legend, Ritchie rode aboard a ship called the S.S.
Serena was able to catch up to Team Rocket since Rhyhorn are faster than the Skiddo which Ash and his friends had rode on to catch up to Team Rocket. In the anime, the Team Rocket trio often uses submarines to travel and spy on targets. In Alto Mare, a city of canals, gondolas provide a major means of transportation.
When the player first rides the ship to Vermilion City, a man will bump into them as they board and explain that he lost his granddaughter. When the player first enters the lower deck, a crewman will deny them access to the rest of the ship, asking them to locate a co-worker who is slacking off on the floor above. After traversing through the lower deck, the player will find the man's granddaughter trying to get the captain to play with her.
He also says he overheard some people talking about Team Rocket, and tells you and your Rival to stay out of their path. The Japanese word 号 gō, in this context, means "model"; however, it is a Japanese-only descriptor and is not meant to be translated. The English localization uses the equivalent "S.S.", short for steamship, and drops "St." from the name.
For example, in Pokémon Super Mystery Dungeon, Lapras is used to transport the player and partner to other islands. Like in the games, Trainers also surf or fly using their Pokémon, such as in Mewtwo Strikes Back where Trainers attempted to use their Pokémon to reach Mewtwo's island. Ash and his friends also used Lapras while traveling in the Orange Archipelago.
